Founded in 1998, we are a small business with a big heart. Many of our employees have been with us for years, even decades. Because we educate them on the latest materials and techniques, treat them well, and recognize their contributions.

Meet Pedro Perez

President of JP Paving & Grading, Pedro is a student of history, a believer in social responsibility and change, and promotes respect for all living things. Born in a small town in Zacatecas, Mexico, Pedro spent his childhood years in Guadalajara Jalisco. His grade school and high school years were spent here in the Bay Area, and he later attended college at UCLA. Prior to joining JP Paving, Pedro lived and worked in Los Angeles as a teacher, a community organizer, and a strong advocate of unity and education through cultural diversity. Today his is focused on delivering a product of the highest standards and ensuring that all customers have an excellent experience with our company.

JP Paving & Grading does very little marketing. Instead, we rely on word of mouth and repeat business. Relationships are more important to us than profit. We do what we say, and say what we do. Our goal is to earn our customers’ faith, make them happy, and keep them as customers forever.

Picky customers? We welcome them. Unusual requests? Bring them on. We love challenges and giving you options. We view every project as unique – no single approach fits everyone. We study the conditions of your job site, the soil, the climate, the materials. We understand how all these variables factor into a successful solution.
